This master class is designed for opera students who wish to strengthen their vocal technique and work on their next roles or auditions. They learn the melody, lieder and opera repertoires, acquiring the freedom and technical skills that are fundamental to opera singing.
Jean-Paul Fouchécourt is a widely acclaimed French tenor who has performed on the world’s greatest opera stages. A major interpreter of the Baroque repertoire, he has collaborated with leading conductors and ensembles, including William Christie and Marc Minkowski. With the idea of perpetuating the “art of saying” and a certain stylistic tradition, he founded La Ferme Aux Arts, in southern Burgundy, with the aim of developing a cultural hub in a rural environment and passing on knowledge and experience, mainly in the field of Vocal Art and French diction.
